Purpose: The functions of the Committee are:
- The overall supervision of the Land Bank Program including all activities pertaining to the acquisition or exchange of land for development, the development of such land for resale and resale of such land in the market place;
- Ensuring that the Land Bank Program is compatible with related policies and programs of all civic departments; and
- Ensuring that the Land Bank Program satisfies the broader social and economic policy objectives of Council;
- Overall review of Land Bank policies and program objectives; and
- Consideration of any other matters referred to the Committee by Council.
Reporting Relationship: The Land Bank Committee Reports to City Council. Contact Person:

Composition: The Land Bank Committee consists of five City Councillors appointed annually.
Term: One year.
Meetings: The Committee meets once a month (excepting July and August), on a Friday at 11:00 am, or at the call of the Chair. |
