The City of Saskatoon strives to operate in an open and transparent environment. Every effort is made to provide people with information in a timely and efficient manner, through this website and through personal contact with City employees. If you are not sure how to obtain certain information, please contact the City Clerk's Office, either through this web page or by telephone at 975-3240.
There may be occasions where the information you request is not that which is typically released to the public, or where City staff are unsure as to whether it is appropriate to release the information. In that case, you will be told that you must submit an application under the provincial Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (LAFOIP). The Act is a provincial statute which sets out the right of people to have access to information, and which also establishes rules for how the City collects and handles personal information.
The City Clerk is responsible for administering the provisions of the Act. Go here for more information, or following the "Contact Us" link on the navigation bar on the left side of this page.
