Looking in the Mirror:  A Reflection on Racism

Due to the overwhelming positive response to last year's 'White Like Me' presentation, the City of Saskatoon has partnered with SIAST and Turning the Tide Bookstore to bring renowned anti-racism educator Tim Wise back to Saskatoon on March 15, 2012.

A fiery speaker and prolific author, Wise candidly deconstructs race and privilege. With passion and humour, he challenges his audiences to acknowledge privilege and dismantle racism in their organizations and everyday lives.

To mark the 46th Annual International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Wise will be giving two lectures in Saskatoon:

The author of six books, including the highly acclaimed White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son, Wise was named one of "25 Visionaries Who are Changing Your World" by Utne Reader in 2010. His forthcoming book, Dear White America: Letter to a New Minority, will be released in January 2012.
