The Shaw Centre is a state-of-the-art aquatic and fitness facility offering a new calibre of recreation, health and fitness opportunities to the residents of Saskatoon. 

The story of the Shaw Centre is unique as it came to life as part of an integrated partnership between the City of Saskatoon, Saskatoon Public Schools and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools.  By developing a collaborative approach to combining their resources (land, building, programs and services), a fully integrated destination centre was created that includes the Shaw Centre, Tommy Douglas Collegiate, Bethlehem Catholic High School and Morris T. Facility Features

Competitive Pool: Ten-lane high-performance 50 metre pool with springboards, platform dive towers and spectator seating for 750.

Warm-Up Pool: 25 metre, six-lane pool.

Family Pool:  Features include a 150 ft. waterslide, shark slide, two water bucket trees, a bubbler at 0-depth, yellow mushroom fountain, water rapids, adult hot tub and accessible family hot tub.

Pool Programs: Aquafitness, lane swims, Red Cross swim lessons for toddlers, preschoolers, children, teens and adults. 

Hamm Fitness Centre: Two-level fitness centre includes new cardio theatre, treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, stair climbers, rowing machines, weight machines and a variety of free weights and fitness equipment.
 
Hamm Walking Track:  Three-lane, 165 metre track for walking and light jogging.

Two Community Gymnasiums: Fitness classes and activities, public open gym times, various sports equipment.

Multipurpose Room: Sprung fitness floor for a variety of classes.  Equipped with sink for multi-functional use. 

Child Minding Room:  Nurturing and caring staff to watch your children while you workout!

Western Fitness Refueling Station: Concession area designed to service both schools and public.

Also: 12 family change rooms, $0.50 token lockers or use your own lock, convenient bus service and free patron parking.
