Lion Cubs Born at the Zoo!
We are pleased to announce the birth of two lion cubs at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo on September 24, 2011. Both cubs are doing well, gaining weight and are currently being raised by their mother under the observation of zoo staff.

The Leisure Services Branch supports individuals to participate in leisure activities of their choice. We work with the community to ensure that a wide range of sport, culture, parks and recreation opportunities are available to meet the needs and interests of a broad spectrum of residents and visitors.
We design,and offer programs and services at a variety of city managed facilities including:

- Five Indoor Arenas & Clarence Downey Speedskating Oval
- Sportsfields
- Cross Country Ski Trails
- Three Golf Courses

- 44 Outdoor Tennis Courts at 13 Sites throughout Saskatoon
