LIONS SKATEPARK
Opened in the fall of 2003, the Lions SkatePark is 20,000 square feet of cutting edge design!
The SkatePark has a traditional kidney-shaped bowl and a full-scale street section. It also features a 'big roller' and 'baby blue flatbar'.
The site is unsupervised but has roving security at peak times. Users are encouraged to wear safety equipment such as helmets and guards at all times.
SKATESITES
Six outdoor unsupervised skateboard sites with a variety of ramps, rails and fun boxes are located at Morris T. Chernesky Park, W. W. Ashley Park, Forest Park, Charlottetown Park, Lakewood Park and Umea Park. Users are encouraged to wear safety equipment such as helmets and guards at all times.
