Children 2 to 12 years old can drop in for free games, music, drama, special events, arts and crafts, water play, and storytelling!
PLAYGROUND PROGRAMS
The Community Development Branch operates 44 free playground programs, from July 4 to August 25.
Playground program leaders plan and supervise activities to entertain children of all ages, while the adjoining paddling pools and spray parks offer a kid-sized opportunity to cool off and beat the heat.

PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN POLICY
Leaders at the paddling pools will ensure that participants are playing safely; however, parents with preschool-aged children (under 6 years of age) are responsible for their children at all times. To help preschool-aged children stay safe in and around the paddling pools and playgrounds, the City of Saskatoon requires that all participants comply with the following policy:
"For every 2 preschoolers, there must be 1 adult or responsible youth (16 years or older) within arm's length, supervising the preschoolers' water play and activity."
PADDLING POOLS
Paddling pool supervision is offered at all locations on weekdays during the playground program hours between July 4 and August 25. Supervision is offered at all locations on weekends between July 1 to August 21 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. (Paddling pools will be open on Monday, August 1 from 12:00-5:00 p.m.). Draining and filling times vary for each pool. Please check with staff to confirm when water portion of the program will be available.
Note: Paddling pools close during unsuitable weather (14 degrees Celsius or less and/or during heavy rain). Children under 6 years of age must be supervised by an adult or responsible youth (16 years or older) at all times.
SPRAY PARKS
Have fun in the spray at one of the City of Saskatoon Spray Parks! Open daily from June 1 to September 5.
Note: Spray Parks are unsupervised. It is encouraged that children under 6 years of age be supervised by an adult or responsible youth (16 years or older).
