The City of Saskatoon is proposing to expand its boundaries to include land that is currently within the Rural Municipality of Corman Park. The boundary alteration process is also referred to as ‘annexation’.  The boundary alteration is proposed to take effect on January 1, 2015.

The proposed boundary alteration will:

  • enable short-term urban growth,
  • bring City-owned land and City infrastructure into City limits, and
  • correct inconsistencies in the current City limits.

Boundary alterations require notification of stakeholders and the public, and Provincial approval.

You can see the history of Saskatoon's expansion by viewing our Boundary Alteration Map.
