The City Park Local Area Plan (LAP) was adopted by City Council on April 26, 2010.The community consultation process for this plan began with a community-wide meeting in 2006 and involved a range of community stakeholders including: residents, business owners, property owners,  and various civic departments.

The resulting City Park Local Area Plan Final Report presents the results of this consultation process and includes the community's vision, goals, and 38 recommendations to help achieve them.

UPDATE: On October 11, 2011, City Council will consider a number of amendments to the City's Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw.  These amendments are specific to the City Park neighbourhood and are part of the implementation of the City Park Local Area Plan.  An Official Community Plan Notice and Zoning Notice provide details on the proposed changes and specific properties in question, as well information on how to communicate with City Council regarding these amendments.
