The Riversdale Local Area Plan (LAP) was adopted by City Council on May 20, 2008. The public consultation process for this plan began in 2004 and involved the participation of a range of neighbourhood stakeholders including:residents, business owners, property owners,community based organizations,and various civic departments.

The resulting Riversdale Local Area Plan Final Report presents the results of this consultation process and includes the community's vision, goals, and 59 recommendations to help achieve them.
