The West Industrial Local Area Plan (LAP) was adopted by City Council on July 19, 2004. The public consultation process for this plan began in 2002 and involved the participation of a range of neighbourhood stakeholders including: business owners, property owners, residents, the Riversdale Business Improvement District, a range of interested organizations, and various civic departments.
The resulting West Industrial Local Area Plan Final Report presents the results of this consultation process and includes the community's vision, goals, and 51 recommendations to help achieve them.
