The Central Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project – Phase One is aimed at improving the streetscape appearance, traffic and pedestrian safety from the intersection of 109th Street to 110th Street of Central Avenue.

| Taking in all general comments and feedback from Central Ave Improvement Public Open house until September 30, 2011. | |
Improvements will include street corner bulbing, sidewalk furniture, street trees, lighting and sidewalk with amenity strips.
Also as part of this streetscape improvement project is roadway
re-surfacing and some underground infrastructure improvements by Infrastructure services.
The design and implementation of Phase One will be used as a benchmark design for all following stages of this project.
