125 Idylwyld Dr. South

Station #1 provides emergency services to Saskatoon's downtown area. Four Battalions (or shifts) rotate duty around the clock. Each Battalion at Fire Station #1 has sixteen firefighters, three Captians and one Station Captain. Many firefighters in Saskatoon are also trained as Emergency Medical Technicians, or in other specialty areas. Crews at #1 Fire Station responded to an average of 320 alarms a month. Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services has introduced new red and white fire trucks into it's fleet of emergency vehicles. Four of them, including Truck 32, the new aerial platform, respond from #1 Fire Station.
