For the safety and well being of the general public and the animals, please contact the City of Saskatoon, Parks Branch at 975-3300, if you see wildlife roaming our streets and alleys. We will do our best to remove these animals and return them to their normal surroundings with minimal harm.

What kind of wildlife might I see?

The most common nuisance wildlife we encounter in Saskatoon are skunks, raccoons and porcupines. Beavers, muskrats, rats, mice and rabbits are also sometimes found in the city. If you see more exotic animals, such as coyotes, fox, deer or moose, contact the City of Saskatoon, Parks Branch at 975-3300. It is important to never approach any of these animals. In unfamiliar surroundings, an animal’s behaviour can be unpredictable.

Who do I contact?

Please call City of Saskatoon, Parks Branch at 975-3300 during regular office hours, and we will respond as soon as possible. After hours, if there is a concern for public well being due to the presence of a larger wild animal, call Saskatchewan Environment and Resources Management at 1-800-667-7561.
