Yellow Toadflax(Linaria vulgaris Hill L.)
Stem: Hairless, slender, will grow 25-80 centimetres (10 – 31 inches) tall. Base of the stem becomes woody with age.
Leaves: Numerous, pale green, whorled or opposite, hairless, tapered at both ends.
Flowers: Snapdragon appearance, cluster in groups of 5 – 30 at the top of the stems, orange throat and spur, will flower from early June to early September.
General: Invades native grasslands and pasture land causing soil erosion and surface run-off; does not provide quality fodder for wildlife or livestock.
