The pioneers who came to this part of the country often faced enormous hardship and sacrifice in order to create a life for themselves and their families, and to establish the community that we live in and enjoy today.
Many pioneers were buried at the Nutana Cemetery or the Smithville Cemetery before the creation of St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in 1905 and Woodlawn's creation in 1906.
