The cemetery map (below) is provided to help individuals determine the approximate location of graves in Woodlawn Cemetery. Additional information is provided on a large outdoor map located at the Cemetery by the Administration Office.
How to Locate the Block of the Burial
1. Locate the entry of the burial in the alphabetical listings. The entries are listed as follows: Last Name / First Name / Burial Permit Number / Burial Block - Lot - Section / Date of Death / Date of Burial.
2. Once you've located the entry, look for the Burial Block. A burial containing the location 24 - 25 - N1/3 would be interpreted as Burial Block 24 - Lot 25 - Section N1/3.
The Lot and Section numbers are not available on the map. To find locations for specific lots and sections, please visit the Cemetery Administration Office.
3. Locate the Burial Block on the map below. Please note that if the block location contains the text RC, as in this example, 38RC - 60 - W1/2, the block is located in the Old Roman Catholic Section of the cemetery (the original Catholic Cemetery at this location).
The orange lines on the map are the paved roads within the cemetery.
