Learn to Ride Safe Program

The Learn To Ride Your Bike Safe Program is a comprehensive approach to teaching bicycle safety to elementary students in grade three.

A child's first vehicle is a bicycle and how they are taught to use this vehicle is an important step to ensure they develop safe and responsible cycling habits. The program teaches effective skills to prevent cycling injuries and helps students develop the habits, attitudes and practice skills needed for later on-road instruction.

The program is based on the priciples of the Canadian Cycling Association CAN-BIKE program and is presented by trained and certified CAN-BIKE instructors.
