Saskatoon Light & Power receives its power supply from SaskPower via five separate 138,000 volt supply lines. The 138kV supply voltage is transformed down to distribution voltages of 25,000, 14,400 and 4,160 volts at nine major substations. The combined peak load supplied by these substations has reached 227 megawatts.

J.R. Cowley Substation, Warman Road
In addition, Saskatoon Light & Power owns and operates 13 medium voltage distribution substations. In response to load growth, customers' needs for reliable power, and aging infrastructure demands, the Utility continues to upgrade its substation equipment.
