We want YOU to Put Pride in Your Ride
Saskatoon Transit's Rider Rules have been identified to make your trip on the bus as pleasant and safe as possible. These ten rules/courtesies will help to ensure you, your fellow passengers and the bus Operator have a comfortable and safe experience on our service.
Take a moment to read them. It's important that you know what is expected of you on a Saskatoon Transit bus.
RIDER RULES
- Have your pass, ticket, or exact change ready when boarding the bus and pay what you owe.
- Keep the language G-rated.
- Keep the volume low on music and conversations - cell phones too.
- Keep your ride clean and looking good. Pick up your garbage and don't vandalize the bus.
- Keep your ride safe. Jumpin’, runnin’, throwin’, skatin’, bikin’ and bladin’ are for the park, not the bus.
- “Move on back” and keep the front seats free for seniors or those less mobile.
- Make room for everyone, 1 person = 1 seat.
- The aisle must be clear for other passengers to safely pass. Keep stroller and walkers folded or out of the aisle.
- Don’t chase after the bus once it’s left the curb. Another bus will be there soon.
- Keep your cool. Pushing, shoving, and bullying isn’t. Violence will not be tolerated.
Copies of the rules can be seen on every Saskatoon Transit bus directly behind the Operator and at the back of the bus. You can also find them in all of the Saskatoon Transit route brochures, on the side of some buses and in some transit shelters. Failure to follow the rules could result in removal from the bus, or in certain cases, rider privileges could be suspended or revoked.
Saskatoon Transit will not tolerate abusive or other inappropriate behaviour directed at our Operators. All such behaviour will be reported to the Saskatoon Police Service.
