Due to a break in a water line on the evening of Thursday, January 26, 2012, the eastbound lanes on 24th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, are closed today for repair. Water service was turned off to two office buildings in the area.
The repair should be complete, and the road restriction lifted by early evening, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists are reminded to allow extra time when travelling through construction areas, watch for pedestrians and work crews, and for everyone’s safety please follow all detours, signs, and barriers.
