Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, Lorne Avenue will be completely closed to all traffic from Taylor to 2nd Streets as crews work on a sewer main in the area. Motorists will be detoured as follows:
- southbound traffic on Lorne Avenue will be detoured at 2nd Street to Macpherson Avenue; and
- northbound traffic on Lorne Avenue will be detoured at Taylor Street to Macpherson Avenue.
The work is expected to be completed and the roadway reopened by Friday, November 13, weather permitting and barring unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists are reminded to please drive carefully, obey all road restrictions and watch for work crews in the area.
