Starting at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2012, 20^th Street eastbound between 2^nd and 3^rd Avenues will be closed with two-way traffic being accommodated in the westbound lanes of 20^th Street. In addition, motorists will not be permitted to make left turns off of 20^th Street East onto 2^nd or 3^rd Avenues.

The restrictions are for dismantling the construction crane used for the Lighthouse Project, located at 227-20^th Street East.

These road restrictions are expected to be lifted by Thursday, February 23, 2012 around 6:00 p.m., barring unforeseen circumstances and inclement weather.

Motorists are reminded to allow extra time when travelling through construction areas, watch for pedestrians and work crews, and for everyone’s safety, please obey all detours, signs, and barriers.
