2019 Civic Rates and Fees
The following rate and fee changes are effective January 1, 2019, unless otherwise stated:
SERVICES FOR RESIDENTS
Animal Services – Pet Licenses
Cats: Spayed/Neutered: $18.00 ($1.50 increase)
Non-Spayed/Neutered: $36.00 ($3.00 increase)
Juvenile (under 1 year): $18.00 ($1.50 increase)
Dogs: Spayed/Neutered: $29.00 ($1.00 increase)
Non-Spayed/Neutered: $58.00 ($2.00 increase)
Juvenile (under 1 year): $29.00 ($1.00 increase)
Replacement Tags: $10.00 ($5.00 increase)
Service Dogs: $0.00 (no change)
Landfill (no change)
Visit Saskatoon Landfill for current rates and fees.
Curbside Residential Recycling: $5.66 ($0.14 increase) per household per month.
Multi-unit recycling: $3.11 ($0.15 increase) per household per month.
Optional Green Cart Yard & Food Waste Program (no change)
Early bird fee of $55.00 per subscription if paid by April 30, 2019. The program fee increases to $75.00 per subscription on May 1, 2019.
Compost Depots (no change)
Commercial Hauler Seasonal Permit: $150 per vehicle.
Saskatoon Light & Power
No set rate increase at this time.
Water and Wastewater
Water and wastewater rates will increase overall by 9.25%.
Storm Water Management Charge
Storm Water Management Charge will increase to $5.525 ($1.125 increase) per one Equivalent Runoff Unit (ERU) per month.
Flood Protection Program Levy (Temporary)
Flood Protection Program Levy will decrease to $3.275 ($1.125 decrease) per water meter per month.
Parking (no change)

Special Permits (no change)
Right of Way permit application fee: $150.00 for blanket; $40.00 for individual location
Sidewalk Crossing permit application fee: $375.00
