Consider sharing your passion, time and skills by volunteering in your community. Get involved in what matters to you by taking an active role and serving on one of the City’s boards, commissions or committees. The 2019 Call for Applications is now underway with openings in a wide variety of positions.

For 2019, City Council has revised the Terms of Reference for many of its Advisory Committees, broadening the composition of volunteers that serve to be more reflective of our community.

We’re seeking applicants interested in representing Saskatoon’s Youth, Seniors, First Nations, Métis, Visible Minorities, Newcomers, and LGBTQ2S communities as well as people with a disability, or caregiver of someone who has a disability.

The 2019 Citizen Appointments Booklet provides additional detailed information and outlines the duties and qualifications required for the various positions.

If you are interested in one of the City’s volunteer opportunities, submit your application, résumé, and two letters of reference to the City Clerk’s Office before Friday, October 5, 2018.  You will need the Committee Application Form and Reference Form, find both at saskatoon.ca/boards.

Visit saskatoon.ca/boards or visit any leisure centre, public library or the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, or call 306-975-3240 for more information.
