33rd Street ramp to Circle Drive closed for one day for railway work

For immediate release: September 25, 2018 - 11:00am
TU18-546

Starting tomorrow (Sept. 26), westbound lanes of 33rd Street approaching Circle Drive will be closed for one day while Canadian National Railway (CN Rail) completes railway plank replacement. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the eastbound lanes on 33rd Street.

The exit ramp from 33rd Street to Circle Drive will also be closed while this necessary work is completed.

Signs will be in place reminding road users of upcoming speed reductions and to respect the adjacent work zone. This construction work will restrict traffic and cause delays so road users should allow extra time for their daily commute.

Check for Service Alerts on your bus route at SaskatoonTransit.ca/service-alerts or on your mobile device using the real-time app called Transit.

For updates on construction projects anytime, refer to the Road Restrictions and Construction Projects interactive map. Road users are reminded to reduce speeds, stay alert and mind posted signage and barriers when encountering a construction zone.
