8th Street westbound lanes closed Friday at Clarence Avenue for watermain repair
Westbound lanes on 8th Street will be closed at Clarence Avenue for two blocks on Friday, December 21 for an emergency watermain repair. Eastbound lanes will also have some restrictions beginning at Lansdowne Avenue. Please expect delays and respect work zone signage.
Westbound traffic will be detoured at Clarence Avenue. Parking, pedestrian and cycling restrictions will also be in effect around the construction zone.
The road is expected to reopen Friday evening, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Transit stop #3327 at 8th Street/Clearance will be closed. Riders are asked to catch the bus at 8th Street/and Lansdowne Avenue. Check for Service Alerts on your bus route at SaskatoonTransit.ca/service-alerts or on your mobile device using the real-time app called Transit.
