City announces recipients of the Jack Adilman Fund Capital Grant for Amateur Sports Organizations

The City is pleased to announce the 2021 recipients of the Jack Adilman Fund Capital Grant for Amateur Sports Organizations:

  • Mayfair Lawn Bowling Club – equipment replacement: $10,875
  • Saskatoon Baseball Council Inc. – Kilburn Field fencing upgrade projects: $44,048
  • Saskatoon Minor Hockey Association – portable hockey board system: $6,327
  • Saskatoon Pickleball Inc. – floor resurfacing to accommodate pickleball at the Saskatoon Soccer Centre: $138,750

Jack Adilman (1920-1992), prominent businessman, sportsman and tireless supporter of amateur sport in Saskatoon, provided a bequest through his estate to support the future of amateur sports. From this bequest, the City established a grant in 2011 and has awarded over $750,000 since its inception.
