City snow crews cleaning up after a day of blowing snow
Saskatoon woke up to blowing snow, with about six centimetres falling over the course of the day. Crews will stay focused on keeping driving lanes clear along Circle Drive and high priority streets. Sanders (16) are also out monitoring and addressing busy intersections, bridge decks and overpasses that are at higher risk for slippery conditions.
By 6 p.m. 34 City and contractor graders will be moving through the City’s busiest streets and into neighbourhoods. Sidewalk and pathway clearing will begin overnight as well. Please keep back when you see blue and amber flashing lights to let road equipment complete their pass.
When safe to do so, you can report icy locations to the Customer Care Centre at 306-975-2476 or email@example.com.
