COVID-19: Daily Update on Changes to Programs and Services, June 11, 2020
The City is doing its part to flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases in Saskatoon. We have made many staffing and service changes so our employees can safely deliver services to residents and to make sure people remain physically apart from one another. This way we can all work together by staying apart – it will protect the health of essential frontline healthcare staff, core service workers and first-responders. These actions in turn protect all of us.
City Hall Lobby Opens June 15: Early Payment Period Extended for Some Bylaw Tickets
The City of Saskatoon is offering an extension of the early payment option to anyone who has received a Notice of Violation or other non-parking bylaw tickets between the period of March 5, 2020, and June 12, 2020.
Many non-parking bylaw tickets provide for an early payment option of either a lesser sum or set amount within 14 days of receiving the Notice of Violation. As City Hall was closed, some may have wanted to take advantage of the payment within 14 days but were unable to do so. This is the reason for this extension. If the date of the offence for your Notice of Violation falls within the dates set out above, you can now pay the amount noted on the ticket and avoid the matter proceeding to prosecution.
What Types of Non-Parking Offences are Included?
Saskatoon Fire Department issued tickets;
Tickets issued by Animal Control;
Noise Bylaw tickets; and
Other violations of the City of Saskatoon Bylaws where the ticket provided for early payment of either a lesser sum or a set amount.
Timeline for Early Payment Option
The early reduction payment option will be available for tickets issued between March 5, 2020 and June 12, 2020.

The address for City Hall is 222 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon.
