COVID-19: Daily Update on Changes to Programs and Services, June 12, 2020

For immediate release: June 12, 2020 - 4:04pm
FI20-1322

The City is doing its part to flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases in Saskatoon. We have made many staffing and service changes so our employees can safely deliver services to residents and to make sure people remain physically apart from one another. This way we can all work together by staying apart – it will protect the health of essential frontline healthcare staff, core service workers and first-responders. These actions in turn protect all of us.

Household Glass Program to resume Monday, June 15 as SARCAN re-opens to the public

With SARCAN set to re-open to the public on Monday, June 15, the Household Glass Program will proceed as planned. A high volume of traffic is expected as SARCAN opens its doors, so residents are asked to be patient as they offer this important service and to be respectful of their workers and other customers. Before visiting SARCAN, residents are asked to continue rinsing their household glass (bottles and jars) and to review the COVID-19 safety measures that they have implemented. Thank you for your cooperation and for putting your waste in the right place.
