COVID-19: Garage & yard sales suspended until further notice

For immediate release: April 21, 2020 - 3:51pm
FI20-1181

The City is doing its part to flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases in Saskatoon. We have made many staffing and service changes so that our employees can safely deliver services to residents and to make sure people remain physically apart from one another. This way we can all work together by staying apart – it will protect the health of essential frontline healthcare staff, core service workers and first-responders. These actions in turn protect all of us.

Garage/Yard sales not permitted at this time

As the warmer weather approaches, please note garage and yard sales will not be permitted until further notice. Garage and yard sales are not critical public services nor are they allowable businesses under the provincial Public Health Order. The Order also requires us to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people and to avoid gatherings with people from outside our immediate households. Updates will be made to the City’s webpage as they are available.
