The Fall Leisure Guide will be delivered to Saskatoon households on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, and can be picked up at any indoor Leisure Centre, Saskatoon Public Library location, or City Hall.  The Leisure Guide will also be available on the City’s website at beginning Friday, August 3, 2018.

The Leisure Guide is Saskatoon’s go-to source for fitness programs, recreational activities, and arts and culture opportunities for all ages and abilities.

  • details on Leisure Centre admission rates, including Bulk Tickets, LeisureCards, and the Pick Your Perk Reward Program;

  • public, parent and tot, family, and lane swimming, as well as Red Cross swimming lesson opportunities at the indoor pools;

  • registered classes for new parents and their babies;

  • cooking classes for adults;

  • preschool and children’s recreational registered programs;

In December 2017, the City launched an improved online registration system to better serve you.  If you have not registered for a program since December 2, 2017, or are registering for the first time, you will be required to create a new leisure registration account prior to registration.  Visit or contact any Leisure Centre to setup your new account.

Registration begins Sunday, August 12, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., by calling 306-975-2800 or logging into your account on  Walk-in registrations begin Monday, August 13, 2018 at 6:30 a.m., at the Lakewood and Lawson Civic Centres, Saskatoon Field House, and Shaw Centre, and at 8:00 a.m. at Cosmo Civic Centre.  Please note that Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre is closed for annual maintenance and will not be open for registrations until Monday, August 20, 2018.

Registered programs are very popular and fill up fast!  Many people will be registering Sunday evening, and the City sincerely thanks residents for their patience.  While additional online and telephone resources are in place to make the process go as smoothly as possible, there will be thousands of people registering at once, so here are some tips to help you be prepared:

  • You will need to ensure you have a valid registration account prior to Saturday, August 11, 2018, by visiting or contacting any Leisure Centre.

  • Have a list of second and third program choices, in case you do not get into your first choice.

  • Join the waiting list! Every full program has an online waiting list and new classes may be created if there is enough demand.

  • Consider other Leisure Centres if your nearest location is not available.

  • Ensure your major web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome) is up-to-date.
