Happy Canada Day long weekend! On Monday, July 1, 2019, the City of Saskatoon will have a number of adjusted civic services and altered holiday hours, details below.

City Hall:  All Administrative Offices are closed

Pay Parking Stations: No payment required on Monday, July 1
Reminder: motorists are still required to park their vehicles within area time limits posted

Municipal Impound Lot: Vehicles will not be released to the public

Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 20th Street West between Avenue N South and Avenue M South will be fully closed for roadway patching. There will be no access to the area during this work which is expected to take five hours to complete weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

City Council has directed the Administration not to accelerate the Solair Neighbourhood project into the Holmwood Suburban Development Area.

Currently the proposed development lands are mostly outside Saskatoon City Limits and not in the development stream for any immediate city development.

Angela Gardiner, General Manager of Transportation and Construction, says the Civic Administration works hard to support developers and to create a business-friendly community.

The City of Saskatoon reminds property owners that your 2019 Property Tax payment is due this Sunday, June 30, 2019, and that City Hall is not open on the weekend. 

Please note: The Payment Drop Box located outside of the main doors of City Hall will be open on the weekend to deposit cheques.

Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre undergoes regular maintenance to ensure the safety and enjoyment of its patrons.  This year the leisure pool, hot tubs, and sauna will be closed from July 1 to August 25, 2019.  

The fitness room and competitive pool will remain open during this time. Visit www.saskatoon.ca/dropinonline for public swim, lane swim and aquatic fitness class times.

  • 6:45 p.m.
  • 7:15 p.m.

Post event drop-off is the downtown terminal.

Regular fares apply ($3.00 per trip). Transfers and passes are also accepted.

Saskatoon’s annual Pride Parade will begin winding its way through downtown at 12:00 (noon) p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd. Parking and road restrictions will be in place along the entire parade route starting at 10:00 a.m.

Starting today, Victoria Bridge will be closed for the Pride Festival. The bridge will reopen Saturday, June 22 after 9:00 p.m.
Saskatoon Transit will have minor route changes during the Pride Festival. Transit service alerts, real-time bus locations, and arrivals are available on third party apps like Transit and Google Transit on desktop.
