Plan for Growth - Transit Plan Fact Cards

For immediate release: January 25, 2018 - 8:26am
CY18-104

Starting this week, the City of Saskatoon will be rolling out a series of social-media “Fact Cards” related to its Transit Plan, a key project of the City’s Plan for Growth.  These facts are part of the City’s Let’s Talk Growth engagement campaign, designed to encourage conversation around the various Plan for Growth projects.  The information highlighted in the campaign is directly related to a comprehensive cost-benefit study which the City of Saskatoon and HDR Corporation are nearing completion on.

Information presented in the fact cards is specific to Saskatoon (unless cited otherwise), and is designed to encourage continued conversation around the details of the proposed Transit Plan.  The fact cards will be used to inform residents and stakeholders about a number of key findings coming out of HDR’s analysis.  The City and HDR continue to engage the public in helping to refine the proposed Transit Plan – these posts will be used to draw attention to these engagement opportunities.

The next round of engagement on the BRT and Transit System Plan will include:
