Reminder: Enter the City’s Living In Harmony Awards by Friday, March 8, 2019
The City’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association, is now accepting nominations for the annual “Living in Harmony” Awards, which recognizes local organizations or individuals for their efforts in the elimination of racial discrimination. The entry deadline for submissions and nominations is Friday, March 8, 2019. Committee members will select the winning entries/nominations.
March 21 is International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, and in honour of this day, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee invites you to explore the theme, “what it means to be a bridge to ending racism.”
Share how you, your class, school, or organization is a bridge to ending racism by submitting a video, photo, art, essay, or explanation of a project that answers any or all of the following questions. You may also choose to nominate an individual or group for their efforts in being a bridge to ending racism. EVERYONE CAN BE A BRIDGE!

The winners of the “Living in Harmony” Awards will be announced at the “Living in Harmony” Awards Ceremony on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at The Broadway Theatre (715 Broadway Avenue).
