Repairs on historic Spadina Crescent Bridge to start Monday
Rehabilitation work on the Spadina Crescent Bridge, south of Queen Street, will start Monday, August 27. The 14 metre long bridge, built in 1930, will remain open to traffic during the majority of the repairs, however intermittent closures outside of peak traffic hours will be required.
The work will re-establish deteriorated architectural components such as the arches and railings on either side of the bridge. It will also include graffiti removal as well as concrete and drainage repairs.
The rehabilitation project is expected to wrap up in early October.
