Snow crews are ready for major snowfall warning overnight

For immediate release: January 7, 2020 - 4:36pm
TC20-955

Environment Canada is forecasting 10-15 centimetres of snow beginning early Wednesday morning. Sanders will be applying pre-wet sand and salt for traction ahead of the snow event and will be out in full force with plows keeping Circle Drive and other priority streets clear.

If heavy snow falls as forecasted, City plows and graders will be supported by additional contractor equipment to clear all priority streets across Saskatoon.

Please keep back when you see blue and amber flashing lights to let road equipment complete their pass.

When safe to do so, you can report icy locations to the Customer Care Centre at 306-975-2476 or customercare@saskatoon.ca
