Draft Comprehensive Downtown Parking Strategy Open House

Community Engagement Opportunities

- 1:46 am

TCU Place - Gallery Suite I, 35 - 22nd Street East

The City invites residents and businesses to an open house to discuss and provide input on proposed recommendations from the draft Comprehensive Downtown Parking Strategy.

The draft strategy was developed based on input from the community, a thorough examination of Saskatoon’s parking conditions, and an understanding of future parking needs.  Feedback gathered at the open house, and from other stakeholder meetings, will be used in the final version of the strategy.

OPEN HOUSE:  Draft Comprehensive Downtown Parking Strategy
Monday, March 7, 2016
4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
TCU Place - Gallery Suite I
35 - 22nd Street East

The strategy currently identifies potential adjustments to the parking system in the short-term, as well as a long-term plan to provide an appropriate supply of parking in the Downtown, Broadway, and Riversdale commercial areas as Saskatoon grows to a population of 500,000.

The City encourages everyone to participate in this important discussion about the parking issues that affect you today in order to improve the future.

If you are unable to attend the open house, please visit www.shapingsaskatoon.ca to review meeting information.  If you have questions or wish to provide comments, please call the City’s Planning and Development Division at 306-975-7697 or email parking.study@saskatoon.ca.
