Residents are invited to review the proposed discretionary use. The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre has submitted a discretionary use application in order to operate a Childcare Centre along with the existing Sweet Dreams program at 600 Queen Street. This property is zoned M2 District. In this district, a Childcare Centre may only be approved at the discretion of City Council.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide neighbouring residents the opportunity to find out the details of the proposal, and for the applicant to obtain public input on this matter. The City of Saskatoon will also be in attendance to provide details on the discretionary use process.
