Ward Boundary Review - Public Meeting Wednesday, June 19, 2019

Community Engagement Opportunities

- 8:30 pm

City Hall - Committee Room "E"

Early planning for the 2020 municipal/school boards’ elections to be held in fall 2020 is already underway. One of the first steps is to review the boundaries of the ten current wards to ensure they all have equal population numbers, according to The Cities Act.

Ward boundaries are changing to ensure equal population representation in each. Do you live in Ward 5, 7, 8 and 10?

Tell us what's important to you. Your input will help draw the new ward boundary lines!

Interested residents are invited to meet with members of the Saskatoon Municipal Wards Commission, share feedback, and review current boundaries and projected growth areas at a come and go public meeting on:

Wednesday, June 19, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Location: City Hall - Committee Room "E"

Use entrance #1 at the corner of 4th Ave and 23rd St East - public parking is available in the City Hall staff lot after 6:00 p.m.

Can’t make the in-person event? It’s easy to participate online through a brief survey at saskatoon.ca/engage. Email preference? Send your comments to city.clerks@saskatoon.ca or drop off your suggestions at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall.

All public input received will be taken into consideration by the Municipal Wards Commission. Once ward boundary options have been drafted, further public engagement will be held in fall 2019 to receive feedback prior to final decisions being made.
