The pools, diving boards, water features and climbing wall are perfect for the whole family while also providing an ideal practice environment for speed and synchronized swimming, diving and water polo. Scuba divers, canoers, kayakers, triathletes and emergency service personnel also find it a great place to train and learn new skills. The facility's proximity to downtown make the fitness and weight room great for a lunchtime or end of day workout.
Programs: Drop-in aquafitness programs and lane/public/family swims. Registered Red Cross swimming lessons and fitness programs for preschoolers, children, youth and adults. Lifesaving and guard training and certification courses. Birthday party bookings also available!
Competitive Pool: Eight 50 m lanes or sixteen 25 m lanes; moveable bulkhead; 1 & 3 m diving boards; 5, 7, & 10 m diving platforms (10 m platform not open to the public); shallow end depth of 3 ft (1 m) to 5 ft (1.5 m); deep end depth of 5 ft (1.5 m) to 16 ft (4.8 m); water temperature is maintained at 28.5°C (82°F).
Warm-up Pool: Six 25 m lanes, depth of 4.5 ft to 5.5 ft, water temperature is maintained at 30°C (86°F).
Tot Pool: Starts at zero depth, like a beach, and reaches 2 ft; spray features and water toys available.
Zoom Slide & Climbing Wall: The Zoom Slide is up every Saturday during Public Swim from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Climbing Wall is available during all Public Swim times.
Hot Tubs & Sauna: Two hot tubs, one equipped with an accessibility lift; sauna overlooks warm-up pool.
Poolside Deck & Viewing Area: Chairs and tables available on deck and in lobby area with glass front to allow viewing of warm-up and tot pools. Bleacher area seats 500 to view the 50 m pool.
Fitness Room: Weight training and cardio exercise equipment.
Lockers: Coin-operated or use your own lock.
Change Rooms: Male and female change rooms with showers available.
