COVID-19 Response: Indoor Rinks
Indoor rinks will open on the following dates in full compliance with the guidelines and restrictions as required by the Chief Medical Health Officer and regulated under the Government of Saskatchewan's Re-open Saskatchewan plan:
ACT Arena (107-105 Street East) Note: Cash only payment accepted for public skating.

Public Skating
To keep within capacity limits (30 skaters at a time) and to allow for proper physical distancing, public skating will only be offered in scheduled 45-minute sessions, with each session including admission and exit times. Pre-book your public skating session, visit Leisure Online and choose 'Book a Visit'. Pre-booking is available up to 2 days in advance. New sessions open for booking at 9:00 a.m. each day. Sessions shown in red are either full or are not yet available for booking.
A Note to Spectators: Parents / Guardians not participating on the ice are not required to register when booking a visit. There is limited room for spectators to safely physical distance in the spectator seating area.

Parent and Tot Skating
Pre-booking is not necessary for Parent and Tot skating. If you and your child would like to attend a session, simply arrive at the designated rink in advance of the scheduled start time. All participants will be required to fill out the sign-up sheet prior to stepping out on the ice surface. To view the Parent and Tot skating schedule, click here.
Know Before You Go
- Do not come to the facility if you are sick. Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms will not be permitted inside of the facility.
- New - effective November 27 mandatory, non-medical mask use will be required during all indoor fitness activities, with aquatic activities the only exception.
- Do not enter the facility more than 10 minutes before your ice time.
- You must be 14 years of age to attend without parents or guardians.
- Hand sanitizer and disinfecting supplies will be available.
- Wash or sanitize your hands regularly, especially after touching shared surfaces.
- Always stay 2 metres apart from those not in your group and 3 metres apart when participating in physical activity.
- Spectators are discouraged.
- Please follow the posted signage, floor decals and arrows, and directions from staff located throughout the facility.
- No outside food permitted.
- The water fountain is not available. Fast fill stations are available; participants must bring their own bottles.
- Water bottles must be kept in designated spaces on bench and participants should not share water bottles.
- 1 person/family in the washroom at a time.
- Tying rooms (dressing rooms) will be open 10 minutes before scheduled ice time.
- Parents must leave the skate tying areas as soon as skates are tied
- Athletes are to arrive fully dressed. Equipment bags are discouraged.

*Cash, Gift Cards and LeisureCards accepted; prices include GST.
**Children under the age of six must be accompanied by an adult minimum of 16 years of age. Maximum two preschoolers per adult.
***Family is defined as a group up to seven individuals with a maximum of two adults.
Complimentary Shaw Go WiFi guest access is available at ACT, Archibald, Cosmo, Gordie Howe Kinsmen and Lions Arenas.
Gift Cards
Leisure Gift Cards are available in any amount and perfect for all ages. Good for use at the Leisure Centres, Outdoor Pools, Indoor Rinks, Municipal Golf Courses, Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo, Gordon Howe Campground and Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park. Available for purchase at the participating facilities that are currently open.

Rental Rates
- Prime-Time ice rental is $275/hour + GST - Monday to Friday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Non-Prime Time ice rental is $170/hour + GST.
- Dry Arena (off-season, no ice) rental is available for $72 per hour up to $648 for the day.
Applications & Deadlines
- Dry Arena (off season, no ice) - please fill out a Special Event Application Form. Deadline to apply is January 15.

After applications are processed, ice is then available on a first-come, first-serve basis and allocated if vacancies exist in the schedule.
