COVID-19 Update

Proof of Vaccination 
Effective October 15, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours along with proof of identification is mandatory for ages 12 and over in order to access City Leisure Centres and indoor rinks.

12-Year-old Children
All children turning 12 after July 15, 2021 will have 3 months from their birth date in order to be fully vaccinated. They will be allowed access to City Leisure Centres and indoor rinks during the 3 month period. 

ID Required
In addition to the proof of vaccination, photo ID will be required from anyone 18 and older. Youth aged 12-17 will also need to show ID unless accompanied by an adult with proof of vaccination and ID. Youth aged 12 to 17, visiting a business without an adult, who do not have photo ID will be allowed to present other forms of government issued ID such as birth certificate or health services card.

Mandatory Masks
Masks are required at all times while visiting with exceptions. Individuals 18 years of age and older and on-ice officials do not require masks while participating in sports activities, for the duration of the sport or activity only, so long as they provide proof of vaccination or negative test. Individuals who are under the age of 18 years while participating in sports, for the duration of the sport only, are exempt from wearing masks.  

Masks are required for Public Skating and Parent & Tot Skating.

**Children under the age of six must be accompanied by an adult minimum of 16 years of age. Maximum two preschoolers per adult.

***Family is defined as a group up to seven individuals with a maximum of two adults.

Complimentary Shaw Go WiFi guest access is available at ACT, Archibald, Cosmo, Gordie Howe Kinsmen and Lions Arenas.

Gift Cards

Leisure Gift Cards are available in any amount and perfect for all ages. Good for use at the Leisure CentresOutdoor PoolsIndoor RinksMunicipal Golf CoursesSaskatoon Forestry Farm Park & ZooGordon Howe Campground and Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park. Available for purchase at the participating facilities that are currently open.

Ice Rental Information

All rinks are available for rent for a variety of activities beginning:

  • ACT Arena - Now open
  • Archibald - Rentals available beginning October 15
  • Cosmo - Rentals available beginning October 1
  • Gordie Howe Kinsmen - Rentals available October 15
  • Lions - Rentals available October 1

Rental Rates

  • Prime-Time ice rental is $275/hour + GST - Monday to Friday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. 
  • Non-Prime Time ice rental is $170/hour + GST.
  • Dry Arena (off-season, no ice) rental is available for $72 per hour up to $648 for the day.  

Applications & Deadlines

After applications are processed, ice is then available on a first-come, first-serve basis and allocated if vacancies exist in the schedule.
