The Clarence Downey Speed Skating Oval is managed by the Gordie Howe Sports Complex on behalf of the City of Saskatoon. The Oval offers an exciting change of pace and scenery for skating enthusiasts. There are multiple lanes available for different speeds and plenty of room for every level of skater (and speed skates are not required to participate). A new warm-up and washroom facility is under construction and in the meantime, temporary shacks are available for skaters to change their skates.
Last Day of Operation - Thursday, March 4th
The City of Saskatoon thanks citizens for their patronage. Public skating at the indoor municipal rinks will be available until Sunday, March 28. Visit saskatoon.ca/leisureonline for the public skating schedule and to book a visit.
