Family & Youth Recreation Programs
The following is a list of free drop-in and registered programs and events being offered for children and youth this Winter. Check out the seasonal Leisure Guide or Leisure Online for full program details.
Drop-in Activities
Registration is not required. Drop in during event times for some family fun. Outdoor programming will be cancelled if the temperature reaches -25 degrees Celsius or below with windchill.
There are no drop-in activities at this time. The Winter Play Program (Playday in the Park) on March 26 has been cancelled due to the warm weather. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Winter Play Program this winter.
Registered Programs
Advance registration is required. Registration for winter programs opens Sunday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m. Register online at Leisure Online or call or visit any Leisure Centre.
Multi-Sport Sampler - Ages 7-14 | March 7 (Registered Program)
Free! A great opportunity on the next day off school for youth ages 7-14 to engage in physical activity while developing new and
improved skills in ice sports.
MONDAY, MARCH 7
Archibald Arena, 1410 Windsor Street
Participants are asked to dress warm, bring a water bottle and a snack.
Broomball
9 a.m. -12 p.m.

Learn to Skate
1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Participants are required to bring their own skates and helmet.
School Break Camp - Ages 10-14 | April 19-21 (Registered Program)
Join us during the school break for three days of sports and activities led by qualified instructors. Register for as many sessions as you would like.
