Mandatory Masking Order
Effective September 17, an interim province-wide mandatory masking order will be implemented for all indoor public spaces. Effective October 1, a proof of vaccination or negative test requirement will be applied to several establishments, businesses and event venues. More details on the Government of Saskatchewan’s announcement are available on their website. Any impacts to City programs and services resulting from this announcement will be shared with Saskatoon's residents.
Masks required in City-operated facilities & Saskatoon Transit
Effective September 1, to protect the health and safety of residents, customers and employees, masks are required when accessing indoor City-operated facilities and services and traveling on Saskatoon Transit. City-operated facilities include City Hall, Leisure Centres, indoor arenas, golf course buildings, indoor spaces at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo and the downtown Saskatoon Transit Customer Service Centre. City Council approved the action at its meeting Monday, August 30 as an added safety measure to address the increasing spread of COVID-19 in our community.
