The City of Saskatoon continues to deliver important civic services to residents throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Our top priority is the health, safety and well-being of the public and our employees.
Current Provincial Public Health Orders
- Mandatory Masks: Effective September 17, a province-wide Public Health Order requires masks to be worn in all indoor public spaces.
- Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test: Effective October 1, a Public Health Order requires individuals over the age of 12 to show proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 test for public access to a list of establishments, businesses and event venues. To comply with the Public Health Order, the City requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test to access Leisure Centres and indoor rinks: read more here.
More details on the Public Health Order is available on the Government of Saskatchewan website.
Masks required in City-operated facilities & Saskatoon Transit
To protect the health and safety of residents, customers and employees, masks are required when accessing indoor City-operated facilities and services and traveling on Saskatoon Transit. City-operated facilities include City Hall, Leisure Centres, indoor arenas, golf course buildings, indoor spaces at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo and the downtown Saskatoon Transit Customer Service Centre. City Council approved the action at its meeting Monday, August 30 as an added safety measure to address the increasing spread of COVID-19 in our community.
