For renters thinking about ownership, Kensington offers flexible options that can make the next step feel more within reach. Pick up coffee, groceries or takeout, meet friends for dinner, stop at nearby services, or get where you need to go with quick access to major routes. As the neighbourhood continues to grow, residents have more choices for shopping, dining, services and recreation close to home.

Easy connections across the west side

Kensington Boulevard links the north and south areas of the neighbourhood, while nearby routes provide convenient access to 22nd Street, 33rd Street, downtown Saskatoon and the North Industrial area. Whether you drive, walk, bike or use transit, Kensington helps make everyday trips more manageable.

Parks, pathways and outdoor space

Kensington includes a network of greenways, sports fields and pathways that make it easy to spend time outside. Walk, run, cycle, enjoy the view from a park bench or explore the neighbourhood’s ponds, native plants and wildlife with your family.

Meet at Kensington Village Square

Kensington Village Square is a central gathering place for neighbours, families and friends. Designed for year-round use, it includes spaces for community events, picnics, outdoor performances, casual meetups and winter activities.

Features include:

  • Raised plaza with barbecue areas, picnic tables and shade
  • Amphitheatre-style gathering and market space
  • Loungers and shaded seating areas
  • Saskatoon’s first all-wheel pump track
  • Seasonal features that support winter lighting and skating

Whether you are meeting friends, enjoying an event, watching kids ride the pump track or spending a quiet afternoon outside, the Village Square helps make Kensington feel connected and lived in.

Designed with sustainability in mind

Kensington was planned to support more energy-conscious living. Many single-unit homes are positioned to help optimize solar energy use, giving homeowners more opportunity to reduce energy use, support environmental goals and plan for long-term household value.
