Christmas Tree Composting
Don't send your Christmas Tree to the landfill. Take it to the City drop-off site at the Material Recovery Centre so it can be chipped and composted or used as mulch.
Christmas Tree Drop-Off Update
The previous community-based Christmas tree drop off sites are no longer available for use. The sites have been closed as part of the Council-approved 2024/2025 Multi-Year Business Plan and Budget.
We would like to remind residents that they are only permitted to drop off their Christmas trees at the City-approved depot at the Material Recovery Centre. Thanks for helping us put waste in the right place.
