Updates to Water Meter Installation Standards
Saskatoon Water has updated the standards, specifications and bylaws for water meter installations in residential and commercial properties. These revisions were part of our commitment to enhancing public health and safety and ensuring a proactive approach in managing cross-connection risks.
Why did we make these changes?
The updates will:
- Proactively manage cross-connection risks that could impact public health,
- Enhance safety protocols for City staff and contractors,
- Reduce health risks associated with water systems,
- Ensure consistency with our current codes, standards and requirements.
