Registered Programs Update

Leisure Centres and seasonal facilities and attractions will be preparing to increase regular programming in the Fall. Details will be available on the City’s website, social media channels, and in the Fall Leisure Guide. The Leisure Guide will be available starting Friday, August 6 on or at any leisure facility, library or over 120 retail locations where the StarPhoenix is sold.

Specific information regarding upcoming swimming lessons and other registered programming over the summer will be shared with registrants over the next week.

Red Cross Swim Lessons
Modifications continue to be in place for Red Cross Swim Preschool Programs and Swim Kids 1-4 lessons beginning the week of July 19.

  • Red Cross Swim Preschool Programs and Swim Kids 1-4 require a parent/guardian in the water to assist swimmers.
  • Water Safety Instructors will deliver swim lessons from the pool deck.
  • Spectators are now welcome to watch swimming lessons

Existing safety protocols for staff will remain in place as staff safety continues to be a top priority for the City of Saskatoon.

The City's leisure facilities offer a wide range of registered programs each season including Red Cross swimming lessons , preschool and youth recreation programs, adult fitness and specialized wellness programs.

Pre-registration and payment of a class fee is required to participate in a registered program.  Access is not included with a General Admission, Bulk Ticket or LeisureCard.
